God is spiritual Father to the sons of God.
The concept of God being Father is very difficult for some people to accept. They do not accept that God has sons or children. Their reasoning blocks their understanding, because they confine their understanding to a natural point of view. Their idea of a God with children is one where God must father children by natural means. Since God cannot do such a thing, they conclude that God cannot have children. The idea of a spiritual Father from Heaven is lightly or adamantly refused by them.
It would be an insult or worse, today, if you tell some homosexual couples that they cannot have children. They have figured out various ways to have children without directly fathering and mothering them together. They have grasped the concept of having children by other means. They have corrupted political leaders into granting them rights which does not fairly belong to them. Yet some of those same politicians, gays, and those who support them cannot accept that God can find a righteous way to have children. Talk about insults toward God!
As for some of my Muslim friends and neighbours, they adamantly resist such an idea. Their religion cannot cope with the basic idea of God being Father. Yet they refer to each other as brothers. How are they brothers---I mean, really---do they all have the same father and mother? Doesn't brotherhood in their mind becomes similar to something such as a labour union brotherhood. Such brotherhoods lack an only and real father of all the brothers. Islam cannot rightfully and truthfully change the concept of one real Heavenly Father for those who will dwell in Heaven.
Jesus, the Christ, established the truth of the fatherhood of God in a basic spiritual act when He taught His disciples how to pray: "Our Father, who art in Heaven". Islam cannot be talking about the real Jesus, the Christ, who acknowledges a Heavenly Father, not only for Himself, but also for His disciples. OUR! OUR! OUR! Father. Muslims cannot expect to cast off this basic teaching and hope to enter into Heaven---the Heaven of OUR Father. Muslims and Gays, etc., who reject the idea of spiritual sons, and the idea of a spiritual father are refusing what they cannot change about God and His children.
Many Children In One Spirit.
Jesus, the Son of God, has the same Father as all those who are born of God. Those who are born of God have God's Spirit dwelling in them. It is by that Spirit that they are able to cry, abba, which means Father. The Holy Spirit does not dwell in unbelievers. Therefore God is not dwelling in unbelievers. It is for this same reason that unbelievers cannot call God Father in truth.
Sons of God the Father are spiritually in the house of God the Father.
The following article should give light to the concept of children for God the Father. When you study the article about spiritual slavery, you should consider whether Abraham was a son of God. If you accept the truth that Abraham was and still is a son of God, who is in the Father's house, then you must see that Abraham cannot be the same Abraham spoken of in Islam. Islam clearly does not agree with the concept of God being a spiritual Father. The true Abraham of the holy scriptures cannot dwell outside of the Father's house as Islam would require him to do. If you think that the real Abraham belongs to Islam, as well as to the house of God the Father, then you are entertaining confusion. Abraham's God is not the author of confusion. Either Abraham belongs to the house of God the Father or else he is a false Abraham. Either Abraham the Hebrew is a friend of God (Jesus) or else he is a spiritual slave who is left out of the house of God the Father. If you can grasp the concept of spiritual slavery, then you should be able to grasp the concept of spiritual children and a spiritual Father for those children. God bless you in your search.

Millions upon millions are in slavery.
Who says? The word of God.
Ah, but you say I am not in slavery. I know that millions
are not in slavery. So where are the slaves? You must be crazy
Abdool . Well, well, well, you can rest assured that I am not
crazy. If you think I am crazy then you are indirectly saying
that Jesus , the God of heaven and earth, is crazy, because I am
basing my writing on God's word.
You see, I am not talking about physical slavery but spiritual
slavery. Nevertheless spiritual slavery has physical consequences.
A man who beats his wife performs a physical act. The act is
detrimental to his wife not only physically but also emotionally.
The man thinks that he is better than his wife. His thoughts are
sinful. His actions are sinful. The man, while dominating his wife,
is blind to the fact that he is being dominated by his sinful
actions. The man is mastered by his sins. Sin becomes his master
and so he becomes a slave. Do you understand this?
Jesus Christ said to some Jews one day (John 8:31-47, see verse
34 for now) paraphrase "anyone who performs sin is a slave of sin".
Here the word slave is significant. It means that the sinner is in
bondage. The sinner may not be aware of this because he or she is
physically free to some extent. |

Are
You Enslaved?
If you read the scriptures I referred to, you will see that those
Jews mentioned were having trouble to see their own bondage. They
gave the reason for this---verse 33. Their reason was that Abraham
was their father and that they were never in bondage. Do you realize
that when they said this that Israel was under Roman occupation and
dominion? They were in a form of physical bondage also and could not
see it clearly.
The man who beats his wife,
the wife who cheats on her husband, the drunkard, the effeminate, the
covetous, liars and those who curse daily and listen to cursings while
viewing immoral shows, are all in slavery. The stars who perform and use
such language, and the makers and directors of such shows are in
slavery.
Christians who are born
again and were set free by Jesus Christ, if they are not careful
(verse 31) to live by Jesus's words, can slip into certain measures of
slavery. They can maintain full freedom only by living according to the
word of God. Christians, don't lose some of your freedom for
sin. Avoid sins and fight against them. Your heavenly Father's will is for you
to live free---not to be a slave!
Can you see slavery all around you now? Look
at the government in the land and perceive as you couldn't before. See
rulers who are passing laws contrary to the word of God and causing
people to stumble. Slippery laws create worse bondage. Continue looking
and you will see people opposing and overthrowing good rulers. Can you see
the sins? Can you look farther in other lands and
see their sins---millions upon millions worshipping other gods---which
are not really God? They too think that they are not in
bondage. |

Do
You Love Jesus?
Return and look closely at
home (North America). Do you see millions upon millions of
Christians? Are they all really Christians? Do they really live by the
words of Jesus? Do you see hypocrisy---people pretending to be Christians
but they are living in dishonour to Jesus? Sins---Ah, sins---a master of
millions. Millions, who, if you tell them this truth may react just like
those Jews reacted to Jesus---some may go about to kill you (verses
37-40) a person who is repeating what Jesus said.
So you see, slavery is in
prominent places as well as in humble places. People love, not Jesus
Christ, but themselves, someone else or something else. If they loved
the God who created them, as some of them claim (see example in reference
verses), then they would love Jesus (verse 42). Only in loving Jesus and
proving that love by living according to His words---the truth---can the
millions escape slavery and eternal death.
So you say, I don't
need Jesus Christ to set me free because I don't believe in
God. How foolish. Let me ask you; did you create yourself? No, some
aliens from a distant planet created you? Well, who created them? Nobody
created them and nobody created you, you just came from a big bang?
How utterly foolish!
A basic principle about
the world you live in is that things in existence are functioning
according to rules and laws. Rules and laws are based upon wisdom. Wisdom
does not exist without knowledge. To know or possess knowledge belongs to those who
are wise. |

The
Creator's Authority And Rights
The vastness of knowledge
and wisdom, even hidden wisdom and knowledge, points to an all wise
person. That person is God. You see, a basic principle of wisdom is that
it must have someone with the capacity to appreciate it and rejoice in it.
The one who created you is rejoicing in wisdom that you and I don't
possess and are incapable of possessing. He reserves certain wisdom for
Himself! Just because certain knowledge and wisdom are not given to you
does not mean that you should reject what is given to you.
Be wise now and rejoice in
the wisdom that He is, and that He is a rewarder of all those who believe
in Him, through faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Receive Christ as
wisdom from God.
What is that? You don't
sin like other people? You don't curse or covet or do any of the sins I
mentioned? So you think you are not a slave? Now, let us look closely at
the scriptures---verses 35 and 36. A truth about the rights of slaves is given in verse 35. Slaves
have no right to enter in the Master's house and live in it forever. A son
of a slave's owner has that right. The son also has the right to inherit
the slave or slaves. Even before a son could inherit his father's slaves,
his father could give him authority over the slaves, to bind them or to
loose them. The son who has the power and authority over the slaves can do
with them as he wishes.The point is---if you are not a friend of the Son
of God, then you are a slave not only to sin but also
a slave who is left out of the house of God. |

Were Bought To Be Set Free
Take a closer look at the scriptures.
They are showing Jesus as equal to the heavenly Father. Equal
here means he is God (not a partner of God but actually God). God has
power over the sins that are enslaving you. No one else has such power
over sins. No matter what prophet, religion, beliefs, messiahs or
angels---no one has the right and power as the Son of God. They
cannot set you free. Only the greatest---the everlasting prophet and Son
of God (the creator of all things visible and invisible) can
deliver from sins and spiritual slavery.
When Jesus was nailed to the
cross he was giving himself as a ransom for you. He paid a price to set
you free. The price is paid in full. Your sins were nailed to the cross,
but unless you believe in the one who paid the price, you will remain
bound in your sins and remain a slave.
Even if you don't fully
understand these things, I urge you to pray the prayer I have given, and
wait for God to open your understanding of spiritual things. God bless
